The Growthocracy Origin Story
As writers, digital marketers, and SEO specialists, we’ve built a borderless business that frees us to travel when the mood strikes while doing what we love. We still have a long way to go, and there certainly have been plenty of challenging plot twists, but a perfectly predictable life would be kinda boring, right? That’s what we tell ourselves, anyway!
We built this website as a vehicle for sharing what we’ve discovered, so you can learn from our mistakes, build upon our successes, and access valuable insights from the experts we interview.
What’s with the name?
Over the course of our careers, we’ve been fortunate enough to work with small business owners who focus on ethical growth above profits. The beauty of this attitude is that it inspires inclusive hiring practices, community development, and an ethical approach to money-making that help everyone around you thrive. Profits are a natural byproduct.
From the seed of this observation, Growthocracy sprouted. The word describes a system in which success is determined by growth above all else. And by “growth”, we’re talking about a symbiotic state in which personal, financial, and career growth all feed into each other in a continuously generative cycle.
